CDFU uses both multi media and conventional approaches of communication to implement interventions for social and individual behavior change. Services offered include:

Development of Communication Strategies: CDFU utilizes its expertise to design and implement communication strategies at national, district and community levels.

IEC Materials: CDFU has extensive experience in developing and producing Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.With its well established Design Unit, CDFU produces high quality 'ready to print' materials.These include leaflets, posters, flip charts, wall charts and comic books.

Community Mobilization: CDFU uses innovative participatory approaches to reach people with different messages that inform their decisions for social and individual behaviour change.

Training: CDFU has a proficient team of trainers drawn from different backgrounds.The team designs and develops training materials and tools for organizations, communities and other partners.These include: training guides, participants" handbooks, binders and job aids.The team also facilitates trainings including Training of Trainers.

Media (Radio,TV &Video): CDFU utilizes evideno radio programs including radio drama series, radio spots and video documentaries addressing behavior change.

Documentation and Dissemination of Good Practices: CDFU's approach emphasizes participation of key stakeholders. We document experiences and practices and share them with a wider audience including district leaders, Community Based Organizations and social networks for possible replication.
